In order to make your appearance by Archer a success, please be sure to take advantage of the press kit. Send the press release and calendar listing to as many local newspapers, radio stations, tv stations and community calendars as possible. Create a flyer using the photo and distribute it to local libraries. Post a feature on your website and your store’s event calendar. Make sure you have lots of signs throughout the store at least 3 weeks before the appearance. And please be sure to order enough books and have them prominently displayed in the store with a sign announcing the event for 2-3 weeks prior. When ordering, think about the holidays–Archer will be glad to sign stock so you’ll have autographed copies through the busy season.
